Parlins pussytoes is similar to Plantain Pleaved Pussytoes (Antennaria plantaginifolia) except for the bright, kelly-green leaves with white wooly undersides as opposed to an overall grey green leaf. It is a short fast speading groundcover for dry stony woodlands, outcrops and dry, poor lawns. Grows 1-3 inches tall with flower stalks up to 6 inches. flowers are white and occur from April to May. All pussytoes are host plants for the painted lady butterfly. Zone 5-9. WV ecotype.
