Arnoglossum atriplicifolium (Indian Plantain)

8.00

Formerly known as Cacalia atriplicifolia. Sun to part shade; well drained, moist, rich soil;  found on the edges of woods and in fields. This plant has a majestic, vase shape, and is incredibly durable as it is rarely beaten down by rain or bent over by the weight of its blooms.  This is quite a feat considering the large, (1 ft wide) white flower clusters that arise on a stately,  4-8ft stalk which often towers majestically above other vegetation. Blooms mid-July- mid-August, good nectar food for pollinating wasps. Zones 4-8. WV. Ecotype
