Full sun, light shade, lean, well-drained soil; a shrubby plant with gray-green clover-like leaves and yellow flowers, followed by roundish seed pods; good for poor banks and dry areas of the garden; 2’-3’ tall; blooms June-Sept; hardy in zones 4-8;  VA ecotype.
