Brickellia eupatorioides (False Boneset)

8.00

Sun to part shade; Average to dry stony soil; False boneset very closely resembles the upland species of Eupatorium but differs on technical botanical details that I wont go in to. What do you need to know? It is one of the most drought tolerant plants there is growing in hot dry shale barrens with little else but reindeer lichen. It has lots of small white flowers in late summer which attract tons of small bees and other beneficial insects. It has lots of glossy lance shaped leave and reddish stems. Grows 2-4' tall; Blooms August-October; Zone 3-9; WV ecotype
