Chelone obliqua (Red Turtlehead)

8.00

A misnomer as the flowers are a rosy pink not unlike Chelone lyonii. It is a little shorter (maybe) than that plant at 2-3 feet tall and has a more mid-western distribution extending into the south-east. Grows best in part shade and moist soils. Flowers from July to September. Bumble-bees love it. Zone 5-9. Unknown ecotype.
