Wild strawberry is a fast spreading groundcover often found along roadsides, dry meadows and woods-edges. White flowers in the spring (April-May) are followed by small sweet fruits. One of the better semi-evergreen groundcovers for full sun. This ecotype was found in Michigan and has larger than typical fruits. Can spread fast but it is a small plant and wont crowd other plants out. Zone 5-9. MI ecotype.
