Helenium flexuosum (Purple-headed Sneezeweed)

from 2.00

Purple-headed sneezeweed (does not cause allergies) is a smaller more dainty cousin to the big common sneezeweed (Helenium autumnale). This plant is very adaptable to a variety of soils but usually found on damp, acidic soils in full sun. Grows between 2-3 feet tall. Yellow flowers with a large brown-purple center appear from August to October. Spreads freely so give it room. Zone 3-8; WV ecotype
