Heuchera americana (Alumroot)

7.00

Alumroot is a familiar site in dry high-quality woodlands. Able to tolerate deep shade even beneath pines and maples this plant provides a strong foliar accent to shade gardens and landscapes. The large lobed leaves are variably green or lightly mottled with red and white patterns. The flowers are interesting but not especially attractive though small bees like them. Grows 1-2 feet tall. Blooms May-June. Zone 4-9. WV ecotype.
