An exquisite accent to any garden in mid-summer.  These beautiful deep orange-red, bell-shaped lilies are avid butterfly attractors.  We grow the southern variety; the flowers of the northern variety are yellow-orange in color. Plant in very moist, organically rich well-drained acidic soil. Thrives in full sun to very light shade.  Flower stalks are 2’-4‘ and can contain many flowers depending on the age of the bulb and the soil conditions4-8; WV. ecotype.
