The trifoliate shamrock-like leaves are variably green or marked with purple splotches; Pink flowers appear in the spring and last a few weeks; Leaves go dormant in the summer depending on rainfall levels; Grows 2-4" tall; Blooms April-May; Zones 5-9; WV ecotype
