Our native pachysandra! Part to full shade; Rich woodsy soil; Well-behaved clump-forming groundcover to 10-12" tall. Unlike the Japanese pachysandra this one is not fully evergreen but old leaves turn bronze and give rise to fresh green growth the following spring. Showy white flowers appear in early spring (March-April); Zone 5-9.
