Polygonatum commutatum (Great Solomons Seal)

Great Solomons Seal is a larger form of the more common Polygonatum biflorum. Growing up to 4-5' tall with large, white, bell-like flowers May-June followed by blue-black berries. Foliage is larger on tall arching stems and the leaves turn a yellow-orange in the fall. Preference is for dappled sun to full shade. Zone 3-8. WV ecotype.
