Pycnanthemum x torreyi (Hybrid Mountain Mint)

8.00

Full sun to part shade; Moist to average soil; This is a naturally occurring hybrid between Pycnanthemum verticillatum and torreyi which we found in more than one place in Virginia. It is a fairly well behaved mountain mint that pollinators will love. In appearance it is similar to Pycnanthemum verticillatum but it has silver-frosted leaves at the top of the plant like P. torreyi or like P. incanum. Grows 3-4' tall; Zone 4-8; VA ecotype.
