Pycnanthemum virginianum (Virginia Mountain Mint)

8.00

Full sun to part shade; Moist to average soil; This is a fairly well behaved mountain mint that pollinators will love. In appearance it is similar to Pycnanthemum tenuifolium but taller and with broader leaves. Our selection from a moist Virginia prairie remnant actually sports a little bit of grey in the top leaves making the plant extra showy for this species. Also makes a fine though sharp cup of tea. Grows 3-4' tall; Zone 4-8; VA ecotype.
